I am very picky when it comes to soaps because I have sensitive skin. I also rarely use bar soaps for my face. I had a breakout when I was high school and I’m very careful to not it happen again! In order to make a good review about the products, of course, I have to use it. So it’s quite challenging for me who is afraid of using new products for my skin. But the blogger gonna do what she’s gonna do! So after weeks of using these soaps, here are my thoughts about it.
They sent me 2 of their handmade organic soaps, Sparkle and Serendipity. Gaea Organics’ products are made with fresh goat’s milk, premium vegetable oils, butters, spices, herbs and botanical plants. They use only the finest ingredients without compromising the quality. I was impressed with their campaign. They to aim minimize wastes, recycle and use bio-degradable products as much as they can. Big thumbs up for businesses who are concerned with the environment. Keep it up!
SPARKLE
Sparkle contains saponified oils of olive oil, palm and castor, coconut, paprika Mica B6042, Sodium Hydroxide distilled water, green tea scent with lemon essential oil and turmeric root powder. I love the color of this soap. It looks like a galaxy print because of its appearance. Its square-shaped and almost 1 inch wide.
I used it for my face and body and the smell is unique! I have tried a lot of soaps but the scent of this is different and I loved it. It felt really gentle on the skin especially to my face.
I never use bar soap on my face normally but I made an exception to try these. They felt really gentle and soothing on the skin while removing excess sebum and sweat (without drying the skin). So if you like using bar soaps to cleanse your face, you may want to give these a try!

SERENDIPITY
Serendipitycontains goat’s milk, saponified oils of olive oil, distilled water, Theobroma cacao, peppermint oil, sodium hydroxide, titanium dioxide and fragrance. This is also square but with ridges on one side. It has two colors, cream and chocolate-y brown. The smell of cocoa and peppermint collides which makes it more relaxing.
At the first two days of using this soap, I didn’t like it. All I get is oil and it didn’t make any lather. At the third day, the oil on the surface was reduced probably because I have used it already. Lol. Sam with the sparkle, I tried this to my face and body. I love how it makes my skin smoother after use. But it does not good on my face. I still get a lot of dirt using a toner and cotton pad unlike the sparkle. But it does moisturize my skin and it’s non-drying.

I would definitely recommend these Gaea Organic Soaps for people with sensitive or irritation-prone skin.
It’s been a month since I made a product review about 2/4 of the soaps MY BARESKIN SPECIALIST sent me: Rose Hip and Goat Milk Artisan soap.Today, you will be discovering the power of the two other soaps: Banana Exotic Soap and Pure and White Glow Premium Soap.
EXOTIC BANANA SOAP
For those who are wondering what an exotic soap is, I’ve did a research and I discovered that it is made with ingredients which combined for its beneficial effects, give as result an exotical as well as an harmonical mixture for the skin.
The packaging isn’t so fancy, it’s a plastic and it didn’t contain any written description about the product or the ingredients! But the presentation is good. As you can see in the photo, there are 4 long slices of yellow soap tied together just like what a banana fruit looks like! Such a cutie!
This soap does a good job in soothing dryness of the skin. It is also believed to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Based on my experience, I think this soap is best as an anti-aging soap because of the tightening effect it does on my face every time I use it. Hooray for a younger-looking skin! Aside from that, It detoxifies the body, increases skin circulation and has Vitamin C that will help your skin recover from minor burns and cuts. And what I love the most about this soap is that it is 100% safe and it can be used by those who have sensitive skin like me and by the pregnant and lactating moms as well.
I am also impressed with the longevity of this soap. It doesn’t melt easily unlike most of the soaps. The smell is not so strong which is good because it doesn’t sting on the nose.
If you’re looking for a soap which has a good moisturizing quality and for anti-aging, this soap is for you! 🙂
PURE AND WHITE GLOW PREMIUM SOAP
MY BARESKIN SPECIALIST has 3 kinds of soaps: the Artisan, Exotic and the Premium Soap. The latter is my favorite. Premium soaps are proven safe and effective, loved by many, and awarded as Best Brand, Global Brand and has Seal of Product Quality.
They have 10 different kinds of Premium Soap and I got the Pure White and Glow.
It weighs 150 grams, a bit huge than an ordinary whitening soap and it has orange and white ombre colors. For me it smells like a sweet melon fruit which helps calm my senses. I sliced this soap into two. The other half was used on my face and the other was for my body. I received a lot of compliments upon using this soap. My friends said I’m blooming and getting whiter! I also noticed that my skin becomes lighter and feels oh-so-smooth after I shower. I think I should purchase another one. 🙂
I highly recommend this soap! It makes skin lighter for more glowing and blooming skin!
Those unfamiliar with the soap world (which would be most of us, really) probably ask what is an ARTISAN SOAP?
Artisan soaps are pretty, yes. But they are also extremely useful, in a lot of ways!
I will be telling you guys my first experience with artisan soap made by the award-winning soap maker, Ms. Rowena Los Banos, the owner of MY BARESKIN SPECIALIST.
It comes in a unique packaging. A crepe paper covering more than ¾ of the soaps, a lace tied like a gift ribbon and a tag with the logo of the shop and the names of the soaps of course. Pretty cool! Perfect for event and party souvenirs.
After researching, I’ve discovered that artisan soap doesn’t contain fillers, preservatives, or synthetic lathering agents. All of the bubbly goodness in handcrafted soap comes directly from the responsible soapmaker’s recipe of carefully balanced oils and fats and how they interact with the liquid and lye necessary for all soapmaking. After more than two weeks of using these two, I would agree that artisan soaps naturally moisturize, cleanse, and lather; no synthetics needed!
Rose Hip
My skin is becoming dry lately and I hate it! Sometimes, when I forget to apply lotion or moisturizer this soap becomes my life saver! When I started using Rose Hip as my body soap, my skin becomes smooth and moisturized even without applying lotion!
According to other reviews, about this soap works on fine lines and wrinkles and other natural marks on our skin. It has been proven that rose hip creates miracle especially in reducing pigmentation. It also has Vitamin C protection against common skin imperfection like acne and blackheads. Maybe I should get another rose hip soap to try on my face? 🙂
Goat Milk
There are four reasons why you should try Goat Milk soap:
the fatty acids and triglycerides found in goat’s milk have moisturizing qualities which keeps the skin soft
it has high level of Vitamin A that can improve the complexion, fight acne and improve overall skin health
the lactic acid found in goat milk gets rid of your body of dead skin cells and brightens skin tone
lastly, goats milk has a pH level similar to humans, so it is absorbed by the skin with less irritation and helps bacteria away
I wash my face using this soap every morning and it does fight acne problems! I had a breakout lately because of menstruation but the pimples were gone faster than it did before! It also leaves my smooth and soft. I received a lot of compliments like “you’re face is getting whiter” and “you’re blooming” from my friends and my boyfriend. This soap is amazing and worth it, great and consistent product.
When you try handmade soaps, you’ll never go back to commercial products again!
Bathing has never been such an indulgent as
before. It was absolutely a pleasant experience! Swear, you guys should try these artisan soaps!

My Bareskin Specialist was founded by Rowena V. Los Baños in November 2014. It mainly offers organic skin care products and also recently introduced a hair care product called “Keratin Pure” which later on became its flagship.
