Streetwear brand Oxygen launches iconic music collection featuring The Rolling Stones, Run DMC and David Bowie.

Rolling Stones, Run DMC and David Bowie fans got to throw it back in the most stylish way, as streetwear brand Oxygen launched its new line of official licensed music merchandise in a festival-inspired shopping weekend at the Mega Fashion Hall.

I went on a saturday morning and it was a fun-filled shopping event. I took a few photos to give you a sneak peek of their newest line. I also got some pieces for myself and I’m loving all the designs and the quality is superb! Thank you so much, Oxygen for having me!

Happy Andrada’s Bridal Shower and Bootcamp

Hey guys! So here’s a short vlog I made during the event I mentioned on my previous post. It’s Happy Andrda’s Bridal Shower & Bootcamp! I pretty much enjoyed the event. I really love the whole set-up, the theme, the food and my favorite part is the fashion show showcasing the Chic Collection of Happy Andrada herself. She’s an award-winning fashion designer and she’s about to be married this November 25!

Havana

I bought this floral top from a thrift shop last time cause I knew I would be needing this soon. It’s just pretty, the prints are lovely, it’s comfortable and it looks like branded! So when I saw it on the clothing rack at my favorite ukay-ukay, I never let my hands off it. And last Saturday, I was invited to a bridal shower with the theme Havana Chic. At last, I got to wear thisl top. I wore a dangling rose earrings from Candy Studio PH to add more bohemian vibe to the outfit. The original plan was to wear my fringe heels but I don’t want to sacrifice my comfort while partying so I opted for a lace slip-on espadrilles instead. Still passed on the havana theme right? 🙂 

Mister Hipster

One of my favorite photo shoots so far! I’m just speechless! like, look at the photos. It’s nothing but damn amazing shots! I just love how my outfit perfectly complements the shoot location. Kudos to Kevin Mueco! You should definitely hire him! Check out his portfolio: @kmdmuecophotography.

Basic Black

This must be one of my favorite piece in my wardrobe right now. I haven’t tried wearing a romper with this length before. It’s a knee-level cut at the bottom and it’s not skin-fitted. Another thing I love about this piece is that it’s an off-shoulder with a cute ruffle detail which makes it more feminine. And lastly, its color. Black

makes me look slimmer and classy! Don’t you agree? Plus, this romper was nice enough to take me from day to night to a shoot, to an event and family dinner, so I didn’t have to bother bringing an extra piece or two to layer with! Perfection!

#BLESSED

The past few months have been the most stressful months of my life.. Sleepless nights, anxiety, binge-eating to relieve stress and self doubts have  taken over my system. But I realized that instead of complaining, why embrace this moment? I cannot let this negativity affect me. I made a positive mindset. I started to believe that everything has a reason. There’s a reason why God gave this battle to me. Maybe, this will serve as a stepping stone to achieve my ultimate dreams in life.I believed that God let me experience these challenges because he knew that I am strong enough to overcome it. And guess what? I DID. I did finish the most stressful semester of my life. I finished my thesis. I got high grades. My GWA reflects good-standing. Everything went smoothly. And this made me feel that I am truly Blessed. I am blessed that I got to experience this hardships. There are many reasons why my heart is so happy right now and I want to write it down so I have something to look back when I’m feeling down. So here’s a bullet list of the things I’m thankful for:

Lace It Up

Hey guys! I’m back with a new outfit post! 🙂

I’d like to experiment when it comes to dressing up. I like to mix and match and try different styles from edgy, to boho, to boyish and girly. And this is one of those days when I feel like extra girly. This wrap dress from @bonneetbelle is a perfect piece that will make you stand-out! I wore a ribbed top under it for a preppy touch. I chose a lace up sandals with the same color with the top. For a more sophisticated and classy look, I added a black floppy hat. I’m so obsessed with hats/caps right now so expect a lot of it on my future OOTDs!

Cheerleader

I had a shoot with fellow bloggers and co-blogger band members Adrian and Grace together with the amazing photographer Fidel Carlos who also happened to be my high school classmate for a Test Shoot for Blogger Band’s Workshop.

One of the theme of the shoot is preppy. For this look, I decided to wear a skirt I bought at a Korean store, a white long sleeve semi-turtle neck top and paired it with a white sneakers. My outfit resembles a cheerleader and I love how it turned out!

To All Those Who Feel Like Giving Up

I see you. I know you’re very exhausted because of all the happenings in your life right now. I can see the tiredness in your face. I know that behind those wonderful smile is worry and distress. I know you’re doing your best. I know you’re giving it your all. I know you’re trying to live up to the expectations of the people around you. But, it’s okay to pause for a while. It’s okay to rest. It’s okay to not be strong all the time. It’s okay to ask for help and guidance. If ever you feel like giving up,

remember who you do it for and remember those who believe in you. All those days, months, years of struggling will pay off. All good things come to those who are patient and work hard.

Sometimes where you feel like giving up, you need to work 10x harder. Please know that God has a plan for you and these rough times will only make you stronger.

To those who feel like giving up, DON’T. Stop, relax, pray, cry or SCREAM! Eat ice cream & everything inside your fridge. Sleep, but NEVER QUIT!

One Item, Two Ways: Shirt from @kittlyofficial

Hi everyone! How’s your week doing?

Mine is hella hectic because of thesis, and midterm exams. I’m also part of the event committee of the Blogger Band, and we started planning our projects which I am very excited to share with you soon!!!

For today’s post, I’ll be showing how I styled the shirts Kittly Official sent me. This segment of the blog is called “one item, two ways” but I’ve got two different shirt so pls let’s accept the design and color differences. Haha! It’s both shirt anyway..

Street Casual

I don’t remember how many times I’ve said this to the blog that my style depends on my mood. And this street casual outfit is probably my “I want to look cool and wear my comfiest clothes” kind of mood. So I opted for a minimalist shirt, distressed denim shorts, white sneakers and the bomber jacket. And oh! how can I forget the choker?

Girly Glam
